Several VIP guests watched the Chiefs eke out yet another nail-biter on Friday.

Chiefs fans were excited to see “Ted Lasso” star Jason Sudeikis and “Saturday Night Live” star Heidi Gardner — apparently home for the holidays — at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, where the Chiefs beat the Raiders 19-17.

The two lead actors in the new Hallmark Channel Christmas movie about the Chiefs — Tyler Hynes and Hunter King — were in the house, too.

Their movie, “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,” debuts at 7 p.m. Saturday. There’s a big red carpet event that’s open to the public at Crown Center before the premiere. It will include special guests from Chiefs world.

On Friday, social media posts revealed that the Chiefs have created a permanent exhibit about the movie in their Hall of Honor at the stadium.

Instagram posts showed Hynes watching the Raiders game with Donna Kelce, mother of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who is dating Swift. Kelce also makes a cameo appearance in the Christmas movie.

Hynes was admittedly not a big sports fan before he made the Chiefs movie but has said he now follows the Super Bowl winners.

Sudeikis and Gardner are long-time fans of Kansas City’s sports teams. Gardner, a Kansas City native, and Sudeikis, who grew up in Johnson County, are co-hosts of the annual Big Slick charity event for KC’s Children’s Mercy Hospital.

Kelce and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes have appeared at the event in recent years.

Social media posts showed Sudeikis and Gardner together before the game and Sudeikis hanging out on the sidelines with Chiefs chairman and CEO Clark Hunt and his wife, Tavia Hunt.

Before the game, Sudeikis posed with tailgating Chiefs fans. He also shared his prediction for the game, which, in the end, was a lot more KC-optimistic than the final score would read.

“We’re about to beat the pants off the Raiders, again,” Sudeikis said.

He clearly got the longer piece of the Thanksgiving wishbone.
