Missing 16-year-old found safe after leaving home without clothes, Claycomo police say

The Claycomo Police Department canceled a missing person advisory for a teen who was found safe Wednesday.

Kiera Hunt, 16, is safe after having gone missing from the area of 1260 NE US 69 Highway on foot around 11:18 p.m Tuesday, police said. According to the advisory, she wearing only underwear and fled from her residence in sub-freezing temperatures.

The advisory said Kiera suffers from multiple mental health conditions which put her at risk. She had left home without medication, police said.
