Taylor Swift likes this Travis Kelce-invested boozy drink. But here’s what we thought

Travis Kelce is everywhere these days. On the gridiron, on and off-stage with his girlfriend Taylor Swift, and in TV shows, commercials and popular podcasts.

The Chiefs’ legendary tight end has also been repping a growing roster of food and drink brands. He’s even invested in some of them.

Casa Azul Tequila is one that Kelce is backing.

In addition to its acclaimed Blue Agave tequila, the company also makes tequila sodas in a variety of fruit flavors. Ms. Swift was photographed last fall drinking one, and the interwebs went wild.

How do these carbonated beverages taste? We convened a group of the Star’s staff to sip one and share their thoughts.

One taster said that the flavor she sampled (peach mango) was good, and the tequila not too “in your face.” Another countered by applauding the drink for not masking the tequila’s taste.

The idea of drinking a soda “poolside” came up a few times. So did the notion of “getting an early start on game day” with one (or two.)

Also worth noting—the brand’s use of Stevia to sweeten the drinks did earn an emphatic “no” vote.
