R&B artist Rod Wave coming back to Kansas City in November. When can you buy tickets?
Florida rapper and singer Rod Wave is coming back to Kansas City.
The St. Petersburg native will bring his Last Lap Tour to T-Mobile Center on Tuesday, Nov. 5. He was last in Kansas City in October 2023 for his Nostalgia Tour, named after the 2023 album.
Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, Sept. 6, at 10 a.m. on ticket-selling site AXS. There is presale access happening Thursday, Sept. 5 with the code “LASTLAP.”
Prices start at $44.50 for upper level seats, $94.50 for lower level seats and $194.50 for general admission floor tickets.
Born Rodarius Marcell Green, he’s known for his “trap soul” style that infuses R&B vocals with modern hip-hop instrumentals. He rose to fame with his 2019 single “Heart on Ice,” which was viral on TikTok and peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 song chart. His last three albums, “SoulFly,” “Beautiful Mind” and “Nostalgia,” all debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
Rappers Moneybagg Yo & Toosii are joining Rod Wave on the 36-city tour throughout the United States.
Fans on T-Mobile Center’s Facebook page celebrated the tour announcement, with some tagging their friends and others saying that they’re ready to cry over Rod Wave’s sad lyrical content.
“Attending his concert probably equal to attending a funeral lol he got some songs thats heat tho,” said one Facebook comment.
