Overland Park police are attempting to identify a man seriously injured while cycling last week.

The man was seriously injured while riding a blue and orange bicycle on Jan. 2 at the intersection of West 95th and Hadley streets, police said.

He is unconscious and didn’t have identification on him or his belongings, according to Officer John Lacy, a spokesman with the Overland Park Police Department.

Police described the cyclist as a white man between ages 35 and 40. They said he is about 5 feet and 6 or 7 inches tall and weighs between 130 and 150 pounds. He has brown hair and a mustache.

Lacy said officers did an area canvass and exhausted all leads, but haven’t been able to identify the cyclist.

Anyone who recognizes his description or bicycle should contact the department’s traffic unit at 913-327-6731.
