Update: Travis Kelce was spotted in Argentina on Friday morning, where Taylor Swift will perform tonight.

Don’t cry for her, Argentina. Travis Kelce could still show up in Buenos Aires to see Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concerts there.

But on Thursday, Kelce was in Kansas City in the company of good friend Patrick Mahomes at a gala for the Chiefs quarterback’s charity, 15 and the Mahomies Foundation.

The charity posted an Instagram story showing Kelce sharing a table with Mahomes at the dinner. The caption read: “@Killatrav in the building! Huge thanks for all your support.”

The location was not disclosed; the event listed only as in the “Kansas City area” on the foundation website.

Photos of him at the event made their way to social media, including the Facebook page of the Real Kansas City Chiefs fans where one follower wished him “safe travels.”

Other photos showed autographed Swift items being auctioned at the event, reportedly donated by the singer herself.

Swift’s fans, along with major media outlets around the world, have been on high alert all week to see whether the Kansas City Chiefs tight end would use his bye week vacation to travel to South America.

For hours leading up to the concert, Swifites scoured the internet for news that Kelce was there. Fans at the concert aimed their cell phone cameras at the VIP seating, but didn’t find him.

Chicago Valerie, a user of X, formerly Twitter, seemed to speak for many of her fellow Swift fans when she saw video of Kelce in Kansas City Thursday night and wrote: “Get on a plane Travis.”

Kelce hinted that he would be on the Wednesday episode of the “New Heights” podcast he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce, center for the Philadelphia Eagles.

When Jason asked if he had anything he was looking forward to, his brother replied, “not really. I might just say ____ it and just go somewhere nice, I don’t know.”

Then he teased: “My skin’s getting real pale, so I gotta go somewhere sunny.”

“Somewhere south?” Jason asked.

“Closer to the equator,” Kelce joked.

“South of the equator,” Jason prodded.

Swift will perform Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights in Buenos Aires.

If he shows up, it will be the first time Kelce has reciprocated and gone to see Swift where she works — not counting the Eras Tour show in July at at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, where he tried to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number.

Since Sept. 24, Swift has been to four Chiefs games, including three at Arrowhead and one at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

“Travis and Taylor are very serious about their careers, and the two bond over that and want to show support for each other whenever they can,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.
