Update: Officials said Sunday morning that Tom Audley had been found and was safe.

A statewide silver alert was issued Saturday evening for a missing 61-year-old man who was last seen in Wichita, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation said in a news release.

Tom Audley, who has been diagnosed with dementia and is non-verbal, was last seen around noon walking in the area of 15th Street N and Coolidge Street, according to the KBI.

He was described as being 6-feet-2-inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds. He has gray hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a purple hat, blue golf shorts and a light-colored T-shirt.

His whereabouts were unknown, and police asked for help finding him.

Anyone who has seen Audley or know his whereabouts is asked to call 911. Anyone with information about his disappearance is asked to call the Wichita Police Department at 316-268-4111.
