Update: Police said late Tuesday that 14-year-old Andrew Exum was found safe.

Police are asking the public for help Tuesday to locate a 14-year-old reported missing in Olathe.

Around 4 p.m., Andrew C. Exum was last seen on foot in the 15600 block of West 138th Street, according to police. Police are investigating it as a case of a possibly endangered teenage runaway.

Police say Exum is considered endangered because of a medical diagnosis that requires a prescription.

Exum is described by police as 5-foot-4 and approximately 110 pounds. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and brown shorts when he was last seen.

Police ask that anyone with information about Exum’s whereabouts contact the Olathe Police Department at 913-971-6363 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
