Five injured, including a minor, after multi-vehicle crash in Kansas City, Kansas
Five people were injured following a multi-vehicle crash Monday evening in Kansas City, Kansas.
Officers responded shortly before 8 p.m. to the southbound 18th Street expressway at Metropolitan Avenue, said Nancy Chartrand, a spokeswoman with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department.
Following the crash, five individuals, including a minor, were taken to a hospital with serious injuries that were not life-threatening, Chartrand said.
The southbound lanes of 18th Street between Kansas and Metropolitan avenues were closed for several hours.
