Update: Police said Thursday night that Briana Navarro-Corpeno, 11, was found safe.

Kansas City police are asking the public for help finding a missing 11-year-old girl.

Briana Navarro-Corpeno was last seen in the 2500 block of North Askew Drive wearing a white shirt, black shorts and flip flops. She is 5 feet and 7 inches tall and weighs about 97 pounds.

Her family is worried for her well-being.

Anyone who sees Briana or knows of her whereabouts should call the missing persons unit at 816-234-5043.
