36-year-old missing from Kansas City since early June found safe, Olathe police say

Update: Police said Tuesday afternoon that Samuel Allen was found safe.

Olathe police are seeking the public’s help to locate a 36-year-old man reported missing since June 3.

Authorities believe he may be in danger.

Samuel Allen, 36, was spotted walking in Kansas City before he disappeared, according to Sgt. Joel Yeldell, a spokesman for the department.

He has ties to both Johnson County, Kansas and Jackson County, Missouri.

Allen has multiple aliases and some people know him as “Turtle.” The 36-year-old has a turtle tattooed on his right cheek, as well as a few other tattoos.

He stands six-foot-two and weighs about 170 pounds with brown eyes. Allen occasionally changes his hair color, but most recently his hair was black, Yeldell said.
