Easter Sunday is this weekend, which means many businesses will be closed in observance of the holiday.

Although many big brand stores like Target and Aldi’s will be closed, there are also a number of local shops, restaurants and grocery stories that will stay open.

Grocery Stores Open on Easter around Kansas City

WALMART

Walmart is open normal operating hours Easter Sunday. Most stores will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Operating hours may differ between stores, so be sure to check with your specific location before making the trip.

TRADER JOE’S

Trader Joe’s will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Easter Sunday. It will be open normal hours Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

WHOLE FOODS MARKET

Whole Foods is open normal operating hours Easter Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

PRICE CHOPPER

Most locations will be open but make sure to check he Brookside location will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The Price Chopper on Wornall Ave. will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. The Brywood Centre Price Chopper will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

SUNFRESH

Sunfresh locations will likely be open on Sunday. The location in Westport will be open 24 hours on Sunday and the location on Prospect will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the holiday.
