Update: Police on Wednesday said 59-year-old Carla Tackkett has been found safe.

A 59-year-old woman is missing after she was last seen walking near downtown Kansas City Monday evening, a police spokesman said Tuesday.

Carla Tackkett was last seen about 6:30 p.m. Monday near Truman Road and Campbell Street, which is near the ramp to southbound Bruce R. Watkins Drive, said Sgt. Jake Becchina, a spokesman for the Kansas City Police Department.

She was described as being 5-feet-2-inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. She takes medication which disorientates her.

Further details were not available, Becchina said.

Anyone who sees her or knows where she is is asked to call 911.
