Two Raytown businesses were damaged in a fire early Monday, according to fire officials.

Crews responded just after midnight to a structure fire in the 7600 block of Raytown Road and found heavy smoke and fire showing from a single-story commercial structure, according to the Raytown Fire Protection District.

The Disabled American Veterans Donation Center and the Recon Auto Center were damaged. Investigators and the state fire marshal are looking into the cause of the fire.

No injuries were reported.
