Police cancel endangered person warning for girl, 14, missing from central Missouri

Update: Officials reported Jamiah K. Brooks found Saturday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is asking for help finding a 14-year-old girl who went missing Friday from Saline County.

They are spreading the word after the Saline County Sheriff’s Department issued an endangered person advisory for Jamiah K. Brooks.

Jamiah was last seen 9:30 p.m. Friday at 17004 N Highway 65 in Malta Bend.

Police said Brooks left her grandparent’s house with an unknown Black male and could be in the Columbia area. They are believed to be in a darker-colored two door car last seen headed northbound on Highway 65.

Jamiah, who is about 110 pounds and 5-feet-6-inches tall, was last known to be wearing a white tank top, black pants with a Christmas design and black Nike slides. She also has temporary marks of discoloration on her neck, police said.

Anyone who knows where Jamiah may be is asked to immediately call 911 or the Saline County Sheriff’s Department at 660-886-5511.
