A portion of 71 Highway is closed Wednesday morning following a multi-vehicle crash, according to the Missouri Department of Transportaton.

All lanes of northbound 71 Highway past 22nd Street in Jackson County are closed following a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday morning, according to MoDOT Kansas City.

Traffic is being diverted to The Paseo. Officials advised drivers to avoid the area if possible.
