KC Pet Project cared for a two-faced kitten who was brought to shelter in a dog bowl

UPDATE: The KC Pet Project later reported that the cat passed away: “We’re so sad to report that our two-faced kitten passed away tonight. He ate this afternoon and we had reason to hope. We take comfort that he was warm, fed, and loved, even if we only had him for several hours. Rest In Peace, sweet kitten.”

The KC Pet Project let the cat out of the bag Monday evening, announcing their team was caring for a rare, two-faced kitten.

The organization shared a photo of the tiny, four-eyed cat who also has two noses and two mouths.

The kitten was dropped off in a dog bowl Monday outside the shelter, KC Pet Project said, and is receiving round-the-clock care.

A two-faced kitten named Biscuits and Gravy was born in May in Oregon, according to CNN, who reported the cat lived for four days.
