Pedestrian dead after he hits semi-truck while running across I-35 in Johnson County
A 33-year-old Overland Park man died early Saturday morning when he hit a semi-truck while running across Interstate 35 in Lenexa, police said.
The man, identified as Justin Valentine, was hit and killed on I-35 at 95th Street just after 4:30 a.m., according to a Kansas Highway Patrol Crash Report.
According to the report Valentine was running westbound when he hit the semi truck which was headed southbound in the right lane of the highway.
Valentine was pronounced dead at the scene.
