Kansas City man killed in single-car crash on Highway 71 early Tuesday morning
One man died in a car crash early Tuesday morning after losing control of his vehicle on U.S. Highway 71 near the Paseo exit, police said.
The crash happened just before 4 a.m., according to the Kansas City Police Department, when the man driving north in a Cadillac sedan lost control and the vehicle slid off the right side of the road and overturned at least once.
The driver, and only person in the car, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
He was identified as a 50-year-old Kansas City man.
