Man found in lake on Christmas Eve identified as missing 40-year-old
A man found in Lake Riss on Christmas Eve was a 40-year-old man who was reported missing the week before, Kansas City police said on Twitter Tuesday.
Thomas Robinson was reported missing on Dec. 18 after he was last seen walking near the Whispering Lake Apartments at 43rd and Northern Avenue in Kansas City, according to a news release at the time.
His body was found Christmas Eve behind the apartment complex in the lake.
Police said Tuesday there were no signs of foul play, though the cause of death has not yet been determined.
