Pedestrian killed in crash on Missouri 152 in KCMO Saturday morning
A man walking on Missouri 152 in Kansas City was struck and killed by a driver early Saturday morning, police say.
Just before 1:45 a.m. Saturday a Mitsubishi car driving eastbound on Missouri 152 hit a pedestrian who was either crossing the street or walking on the highway east of Brighton Avenue, according to Kansas City police.
The pedestrian, Craig A. Herden, 23, of Kearney, Missouri, died at the scene.
The driver, who stopped at the scene, was brought to the hospital with minor injuries. He was identified as a 24-year-old Kansas City man.
