A man found dead near a Kansas City, Kan., middle school Wednesday was not a homicide victim.

Kansas City, Kan., Police Chief Terry Zeigler tweeted Thursday that the man died from hypothermia.

The body was discovered in a field behind Coronado Middle School in the 1700 block of North 64th Terrace.
