Lidia’s Kansas City in the Crossroads helping staff with free meals and more

Lidia’s Kansas City in the Crossroads is stepping up with two new initiatives to help its employees during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chef Cody Hogan is at the restaurant from noon to 2 p.m. distributing food to employees, including cooked items and dry pasta that they can take home to their families — while supplies last.

Fans of the Northern Italian restaurant can help out by purchasing a gift card. For every $100 gift card purchase, $20 will be contributed to a fund for employees whose jobs were disrupted.
