Need a meal for the whole family? Here are some choices, one with toilet paper as a side

With families and friends hunkered down because of the stay-at-home order during the COVID-19 pandemic, Kansas City restaurants are stepping up with family-style meals — along with their regular menu items. The family meals are not only cheaper than a la carte servings, they make ordering simpler during this stressful time.

“We’re really excited to be able to offer not just great food but also a fun experience for cooped-up families,” said Kerry Goebel of KC Pie LLC, owners of the area Pie Five Pizza locations.

It also is a way to help your favorite operations pay their bills and keep employees on the payroll.

We will be adding to this list. Restaurants can email their offerings to Daniel Zeilstra at dzeilstra@kcstar.com or Joyce Smith at jsmith@kcstar.com, using the following format and with the subject line, “Family-style meals.”
