Hy-Vee is looking for temp workers to cope with demand during coronavirus pandemic

With restaurants closed for dine-in service, grocery stores are seeing a surge in demand during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now they need some extra workers to keep up.

So Hy-Vee Inc. is seeking temporary, part-time hourly employees across its eight state region, which includes the Kansas City metro, as well as two Iowa distribution centers. The employees will help restock shelves, as well as clean and sanitize.

The chain is seeking people who may have temporarily lost their jobs due to the pandemic, are out of school, who want to make extra money or who just want to help out during this time.

People can apply at www.hy-vee.com/careers to view positions in the metro or text SMILES to 97211.
