Openings & Closings

This Kansas City bridal store will close after 10 years. Dresses on sale

A West Plaza bridal studio will close at the end of this month.

Aisle Studio: Bespoke Bridal, at 1207 W. 47th St., announced in an Instagram post Thursday that it was closing its doors. Owner Angela Hinkle said in the post that multiple things influenced the decision, but spending more time with her children was the deciding factor.

“They are young and I have already missed out on precious time with them,” Hinkle said. “My priority to be present in their lives outweighs everything else. My plan for what comes next allows more flexibility while still enabling me to have a career in bridal. “

All current bridal clients were notified, and their orders have been secured, the post said.

Aisle Studio: Bespoke Bridal, formerly known as Fabulous Frocks of Kansas City, has been open for 10 years, selling a curated collection with a focus on craftsmanship, customization, relaxation, one-on-one styling.

“To my Aisle Studio and Fabulous Frocks brides: thank you for everything,” the post said. “I remember many of you and if I hear your name, I can probably still describe your dress. I have followed you on social media to keep up with your personal life. You became my friends. Some of you became members of my team as bridal stylists. Your support and encouragement over the years kept me going.”

Hinkle said in the post said she will also spend more time growing her other business, Mayven 31 Hat Co, which she owns with her friend, Paige Albert.

Hinkle will continue her bridal career at Albert’s Something White Bridal Boutique.

Aisle Studio will have a closing sale, according to the post. Customers can book a sample sale appointment online for before July 31. The shop is open Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
