A Canadian clothing brand by popular 2010s brand Charlotte Russe is coming to Kansas City’s Northland this fall.

Urban Planet, which sells clothing, shoes, accessories for men, women and children, will be opening inside the old Forever 21 space at 7121 NW 86th Terrace in Zona Rosa this September, according to a news release.

“We are thrilled to welcome Urban Planet to Zona Rosa,” Scott Zigler, general manager of Zona Rosa, said in a release. “This is exactly the kind of long-term commitment that reinforces Zona Rosa’s position as the Northland’s premier shopping destination. Urban Planet’s focus on affordable, trend-focused fashion for young adults fills a real need in our market.”

Urban Planet is one of the fastest growing brands in Canada and has over 100 locations across the country. It caters shoppers between the ages of 16 and 24 and focuses on affordability. The company also owns Urban Kids and Forever 21.

“The continued growth of nationally recognized brands at Zona Rosa reflects our commitment to being the Northland’s premier destination,” Zigler said in the release. “We’re excited to welcome Urban Planet to our community and look forward to the experience they’ll bring to our shoppers.”

This opening announcement follows several others in the Zona Rosa area, including Boutique Collective-The Blossom, Culver’s, Crafty Claw Creations and the upcoming opening of Burlington. Other tenants at the Northland shopping center include Bo Lings, American Eagle Outfitters, Sephora, Barnes & Noble and more.
