Kansas Citians hoping to spend the holidays on the beach but are unable to make the trip are getting their Christmas wish.

Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City is launching two Christmas experiences in the coming weeks.

The Frosted Cabanas — six enclosed, heated cabanas with winter decor — and The Frosted Reef — an aquatic-themed pop-up bar — are coming to the Kansas City, Kansas, location.

The Frosted Cabanas launch Nov. 19. Each poolside cabana will feature a separate holiday theme, such as Yule Tide & Turtle Time, The Frosty Flamingo, and Fa La La Lagoon.

Its food menu includes tropical bruschetta, Caribbean sliders, spicy coconut corn ribs, passion fruit cheesecake bites and more. Cocktails include The Sunken Sleigh (Prosecco, orange and pomegranate), Kraken’s Kiss Hot Chocolate (hot cocoa with Fireball whiskey, island cream, and toasted marshmallows), Santa’s Shipwreck (blackberry moonshine and citrus) and more.

Mocktails like Sweater Weather (apple, cranberry and citrus) and Citrus Spark (a sparkling mocktail with citrus and pomegranate) will also be available.

Each two-hour cabana rental accommodates 10 guests and includes a build-your-own hot chocolate tray and small snacks. Rentals are $200 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays; and $250 on Fridays and Saturdays.

Then, on Nov. 26, The Frosted Reef will launch on the first floor of the LandShark Bar & Grill.

The bar experience’s food includes sweet potato poutine, coconut Shrimp with mango chili sauce and maple Brussels sprouts.

Cocktails include Dark Tide (warm red wine infused with spices and citrus), Seasick Crocodile (melon, coconut, and banana liqueurs with orange and pineapple juices), Blackbeard’s Brew (rich, velvety espresso martini made with Titos, Kahlua, and La Colombe cold brew) and more.
