Taylor Swift-approved Kansas City jewelry store opens another location

EB and Co. — a Kansas City-based jeweler and accessories store — has opened its fourth area location.

The new store opened days ago in downtown Lee’s Summit at 305 SE Douglas St., formerly Nova’s Vintage.

The shop opened a long-term pop-up location in Crown Center in mid-September. Its other spots are in Brookside at 326 W. 63rd St. and on the Country Club Plaza at 327 W. 47th St.

Selling earrings, headbands, claw clips and more, EB and Co. rose to fame after Taylor Swift was seen wearing a No. 87 ring from the store. The piece, worn at the 2024 AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens, was a gift from Donna Kelce.

After Swift was photographed with the ring, EB and Co. reported a massive spike in sales.

“She’s definitely moved the needle in my business in a significant way,” Bordner told The Star after photos of Swift hugging Kelce with her “Bejeweled” finger were shared online.

Since the Swift-infused boost, EB and Co. has expanded its wholesale and online presence, offering more sports-themed accessories, according to a statement from the company.

The famous Kelce ring is still for sale online for $16.

Bordner founded EB and Co. in 2012, with its first store launching in Brookside in 2019.
