Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant has added another Kansas City location.

The latest, which opened Monday, is at 1900 NW Springs Road in the Northland’s Twin Creeks Village.

It’s the third local spot for the Illinois-based chain, which opened on the Country Club Plaza in 2012 and in Lee’s Summit in 2022.

The Northland space is large: 10,000 square feet, with room to accommodate 250 guests inside and another 65 on the patio. It features a Napa-style tasting room and retail market where customers can sample and purchase wine to take home. Guests can become Wine Club Members and receive a handcrafted bottle of wine every month, plus other discounts and perks.

The New American food menu features appetizers like Drunken Shrimp (bacon-wrapped shrimp, tequila lime butter sauce, guacamole; $20), vegetarian options like gnocchi with roasted butternut squash (wild mushrooms, sweet onion cream, spinach, feta, crispy onions; $23), and mains including a Chicken Giardiniera (Parmesan-breaded chicken, pickled vegetables, potatoes; $23) and red wine-braised short ribs (oven-roasted vegetables, potatoes, Dijon mustard butter, onion strings; $36). Each dish includes a recommendation for a wine pairing.

The Northland location is led by kitchen manager Brittany Graziano and executive chef Matt McMillin. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
