Chilakillers — a new Mexican food vendor — is now open in the Lenexa Public Market.

The name plays off a prominent menu item, chilaquiles, and the restaurant also serves tacos, tortas, nachos, quesadillas, flautas, arroz con leche and other Mexican favorites.

The stall is in the food hall at 8750 Penrose Lane, in the Lenexa City Center area.

Chef Fernando Borrego first opened Chilakillers as a food truck in 2022.

“We are excited to have a bigger space to create new dishes and offer specials, showcasing the culinary creativity and expertise that sets us apart,” Borrego said in a press release.
