Hallmark Gold Crown, a gift shop on the Country Club Plaza, will close next month.

Its final day will be Friday, April 26, according to a sign posted on the windows at 4710 Broadway Blvd.

Originally known as HMK — an abbreviation of the company name used by Hallmark employees — the shop opened in 2013 selling candles, children’s clothing, calendars, kitchenware, puzzles and, of course, greeting cards.

Everything in the store except greeting cards is 50% off until the closing.

Hallmark joins a handful of other Plaza shops that have closed in recent weeks, including Soft Surroundings and Forever 21.
