Pop-ups at Kansas City area malls this weekend: Kendra Scott jewelry, Hello Kitty Cafe

Just in time for last minute Mother’s Day gifts, jewelry chain Kendra Scott is having a pop-up event.

It will be held on The Lawn at the Legends Outlets Kansas City, 1843 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. It will have the latest from the spring product lines plus a full line of watches.

Participants also can enter a giveaway to win a piece of jewelry. Pop-Up Picnics & Parties KC will provide a colorful picnic photo opportunity for mothers and their families.

Kendra Scott also has area stores on the Country Club Plaza and in Leawood.

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be at Leawood’s Town Center Plaza from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday (in the east alley near Bravo Italian Kitchen at 5005 W. 117th St.).

It will have some exclusive goods and limited-edition collectibles, including a Hello Kitty Cafe lunchbox, T-shirts, canvas totes, thermos and plush toys.
