Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city or county health inspectors.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas City Health Department cited these operations for seven or more critical health code violations:
▪ Madison’s Neighborhood Eatery, 915-917 W. 44th St., had nine critical violations during an April 30 routine inspection.
▪ The Big Biscuit, 6332 N.W. Barry Road, had eight critical violations during an April 19 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during an April 27 follow-up inspection.
▪ Cold Stone Creamery, 7251 N.W. 86th Place, had eight critical violations during an April 22 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during an April 27 follow-up inspection.
▪ Farina, Crossroads, 19 W. 19th St., had eight critical violations during an April 30 routine inspection.
▪ LC’s Bar-B-Q, 5800 Blue Parkway, had eight critical violations during an April 21 inspection following a complaint. It had no critical violations during an April 29 follow-up inspection.
▪ Unforked, Crown Center, 2450 Grand Blvd., No. 113, had eight critical violations during an April 22 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during an April 29 follow-up inspection.
▪ True Food Kitchen, Country Club Plaza, 4749 Pennsylvania Ave., had seven critical violations during an April 19 routine inspection.

▪ Homestead Country Club, 4100 Homestead Court, Prairie Village, had eight priority violations during an April 28 routine inspection.
▪ Express Stop, 22361 S. Harrison St., Spring Hill, had seven priority violations during an April 25 licensing inspection.
▪ Sushi Karma Asian Bistro + Bar, 5820 Johnson Drive, Mission, had seven priority violations during an April 28 follow-up inspection.
