92 Chicken, a Korean-style fried chicken restaurant, has opened in Overland Park.

It offers a variety of fried chicken dishes: soy garlic, red garlic, curry sweet onion, lemon green and OMG hot. Other menu items include shrimp tempura, fried calamari, jumbo shrimp, popcorn shrimp, fish and chips, and fried gizzards.

92 Chicken serves lunch and dinner daily. Its weekday lunch special offers customers a choice of five wings or tenders, fries or rice, coleslaw and a soda for $9.99.

Its website lists nearly a dozen locations in several states, including New York, North Carolina and Utah. The new Overland Park location is in the Indian Creek Shopping Center, at 10326 Metcalf Ave. Another is scheduled to open later this year at 525 Wakarusa Drive, Suite D, Lawrence.

The area franchisee, Keith Ahn, also owns several other businesses in the Indian Creek center: Ssong’s Hotdog, Oriental Supermarket and Tous les Jours.
