Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

▪ Old Shawnee Pizza & Italian Kitchen, 6000 Roger Road, Shawnee, had 12 priority violations during a Dec. 8 routine inspection..
▪ Mr Brews Taphouse, 8021 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, had 10 priority violations during a Dec. 1 routine inspection.
▪ Sushi Mido, 6010 Nieman Road, Shawnee, had nine priority violations during a Dec. 2 routine inspection.
▪ Bambu, 3920 Rainbow Blvd., Kansas City, Kansas, had eight priority violations during a Dec. 7 routine inspection.
▪ The Big Biscuit, 12276 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Shawnee, had eight priority violations during a Dec. 8 joint inspection.
▪ Knub’s Pub, 5386 Roberts St., Shawnee, had eight priority violations during a Dec. 2 routine inspection.
▪ Al Chile Taco Shop, 11200 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, had seven priority violations during a Dec. 6 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Pegah’s Family Restaurant, 11005 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, had seven priority violations during a Dec. 8 routine inspection.

▪ El Maguey, 13612 Washington St., had nine critical violations during a Dec. 2 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a Dec. 8 follow-up inspection.
▪ Jerusalem Cafe, 515 Westport Road, had nine critical violations during a Dec. 2 routine inspection. It had one critical violation during a Dec. 7 follow-up inspection.
▪ The Melting Pot, Country Club Plaza, 450 Ward Parkway, had nine critical violations during a Dec. 4 routine inspection.
▪ Boru Asian Eatery, 500 W. 75th St., had seven critical violations during a Dec. 2 routine inspection.
▪ Jimmy John’s, 8427 Wornall Road, had seven critical violations during a Dec. 2 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a Dec. 8 follow-up inspection.
▪ Joy Wok Super Buffet, 8320 N. Church Road, had seven critical violations during a Dec. 1 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a Dec. 6 follow-up inspection.
▪ Komatsu Ramen, 3951 Broadway, had seven critical violations during a Dec. 3 routine inspection.
