Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city or county health inspectors.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links are not available).
▪ El Toro Loco Mexican Bar & Grill, Legends Outlets Kansas City, 1706 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas, had 14 priority violations during an April 20 routine inspection.
▪ China Taste, 816 E. Main St., Gardner, had 12 priority violations during an April 21 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Genesis Health Clubs, 6700 W. 110th St., Overland Park, had 10 priority violations during an April 26 routine inspection.
▪ The Shack Breakfast & Lunch, 7940 W. 135th St., Overland Park, had nine priority violations during an April 22 routine inspection.
▪ Thai Orchid, 6504 Martway St., Mission, had nine priority violations during an April 23 routine inspection.
▪ China Garden, 8740 W. 135th St., Overland Park, had eight priority violations during an April 22 routine inspection.
▪ Hattie’s Fine Coffee, 4195 Somerset Drive, Prairie Village, had eight priority violations during an April 26 routine inspection.
▪ Choga Korean BBQ Restaurant, 6920 W. 105th St., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during an April 21 follow-up inspection.
▪ Spice N Rice, 6537 W. 119th St., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during an April 22 routine inspection.

▪ KFC, 9551 N.E. 83rd Terrace, had seven critical violations during an April 22 routine inspection.
▪ Spokes Coffee/Cafe/Cyclery, 929 Walnut St., had seven critical violations during an April 22 routine inspection.
