Free burgers, doughnuts, games in the Kansas City area — if you get a COVID vaccine
Kansas City businesses are starting to roll out a few perks to encourage more people to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
Flash your vaccine card at Westport Flea Market Bar & Grill and get a buy one, get one free burger deal starting March 24 through the end of the year.
“Kicking COVID’s ass, get out and start enjoying the world,” said Joe Zwillenberg, owner.
At Up-Down arcade bar in the Crossroads, people can pick up 20 free tokens when they show that they’ve had their final dose.
Krispy Kreme is handing out a free glazed doughnut for people with a valid COVID-19 vaccination card. Those who’ve only had the first of a two-dose vaccine are still eligible. And the offer runs through the end of the year, so fans can keep coming back daily for the free offer.
The Kansas City metropolitan area added less than 100 new COVID-19 cases, but local health systems on Wednesday reported upticks in hospitalizations.
