Kansas City eateries with multiple health code violations include Chinese restaurant, midtown tavern
Here are area restaurants with seven or more critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city health inspectors.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas City Health Department cited these operations for 7 or more critical health code violations:
▪ China Feast, 200 E. Linwood Blvd., had 10 critical violations during a Feb. 3 routine inspection.
It was temporarily shut down for not having hot water. A manager declined to comment.
It had no critical violations during a Feb. 5 follow-up inspection.
▪ Captain D’s, 6308 Troost Ave., had eight critical violations during a Feb. 11 routine inspection.
▪ Rincon de las Americas, 2349 Hardesty Ave., had eight critical violations during a Feb. 10 routine inspection.
▪ Tower Tavern, 401 E. 31st St., had seven critical violations during a Feb. 5 routine inspection.
▪ Ward Parkway Lanes, snack bar, 1523 W. 89th St., had seven critical violations during a Feb. 3 routine inspection. It had one critical violation during a Feb. 10 follow-up inspection.
