New Kansas City midtown buildings to include cannabis dispensary, Dunkin’ donuts

Fresh + Karma, a medical cannabis dispensary, is putting up a 6,000-square-foot headquarters building and retail shop with 42 parking spaces in midtown. The building, at 240 E. Linwood Blvd., is expected to open in May.

A Parkville shop, 10915 N.W. Missouri 45, is scheduled to open in February, and a St. Joseph, Mo., location is scheduled to open in mid-March.

Fresh + Karma will sell such items as cannabis flowers, cannabis concentrates, infused-cannabis products, and Fresh + Karma brand related merchandise.

In other Linwood updates, a Dunkin’ donuts franchisee plans to open a drive-thru location in a new multi-tenant building planned for 125 E. Linwood. A 2022 opening is scheduled.
