Mexican restaurant in Legends, Korean spot in Lawrence cited with multiple violations
Here are recent Kansas City-area restaurant inspections. Inspections were compiled for Jan. 13.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter.

▪El Toro Loco Mexican Bar & Grill, Legends Outlets, 1706 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas, had 15 priority violations during a Jan. 7 standardization inspection.
▪ O Cafe, Korean restaurant, 1530 W. Sixth St., Suite E, Lawrence, had 12 priority violations during a Jan. 8 routine inspection.
▪ Whole Foods, 6621 W. 119th St., Overland Park, had 12 priority violations during a Jan. 9 standardization inspection.
▪ Double Nickel, 189 S. Rogers Road, Olathe, had 11 priority violations during a Jan. 7 routine inspection.
▪ J Bar, Embassy Suites, 10401 S. Ridgeview Road, Olathe, had 10 priority violations during a Jan. 9 licensing inspection.
▪ Hereford House, 5001 Town Center Drive, Leawood, had eight priority violations during a Jan. 2 routine inspection.
▪ McDonald’s, 15920 W. 87th Street Parkway, Lenexa, had eight priority violations during a Jan. 6 joint inspection.
▪ El Pollo Rey, 901 Kansas Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had seven priority violations during a Jan. 9 joint inspection.
