Multiple health code violations in the KC area: Barbecue, bagels, breakfast and more
Here are recent Kansas City-area restaurant inspections. Inspections were compiled for Jan. 6.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations. Direct links are not available.
▪ Henry T’s Bar & Grill, 3520 W. Sixth St., Lawrence, had 16 priority violations during a Dec. 17 standardization inspection.
▪ The Other Place, 16590 W. 135th St., Olathe, had 15 priority violations during a Dec. 30 routine inspection.
▪ Hen House, Camelot Court, 11721 Roe Ave., Leawood, had 14 priority violations during a Dec. 31 routine inspection.
▪ First Watch, 15289 W. 119th St., Olathe, had 11 priority violations during a Dec. 30 routine inspection.
▪ Jake’s Place, 12001 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, had 11 priority violations during a Dec. 30 routine inspection.
▪ Blind Box BBQ, Nebraska Furniture Mart, 1601 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kan., had 10 priority violations during a Dec. 30 follow-up inspection.
▪ Meshuggah Bagels, 7096 W. 105th St., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during a Dec. 31 routine inspection.
▪ Pak Halal International Market, 12259 W. 87th Street Parkway, Lenexa, had seven priority violations during a Dec. 31 routine inspection.
▪ Royal Crest Lanes/Wayne & Larry’s Sports Bar & Grill, 933 Iowa St., Lawrence, had seven priority violations during a Jan. 2 routine inspection.

The Kansas City Health Department reports with seven or more critical violations:
▪Wendy’s, 3803 E. Truman Road, had seven priority violations during a Dec. 26 routine inspection. It had six critical violations during a Dec. 30 follow-up inspection.
