Breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant chain ready to crack it open in Overland Park

A Florida-based breakfast, brunch and lunch chain plans to open its first Kansas location in Overland Park.

Another Broken Egg Cafe is scheduled to open Jan. 20 at 13386 Metcalf Ave., in the former Fuzzy’s Taco Shop spot.

The menu includes a lobster and brie omelet, chicken and waffles, shrimp ‘n grits, peach cobbler pancakes, chocolate-stuffed Belgian waffles, Louisiana crawfish bowls, Benedict burgers, and salmon avocado toast.

It also has seasonal selections such as the current sweet potato waffle, and cocktails such as Black Cherry-infused mimosas.

Another Broken Egg Cafe was founded in Mandeville, Louisiana, in 1996, and it now has nearly 70 restaurants. It said each restaurant is managed by a “hands-on owner.”

In Overland Park that will be franchisees John and Britney Valas of Eleven Eleven Enterprises.
