New location for Kansas City-area barbecue racks up 13 priority health code violations
Here are recent Kansas City-area restaurant inspections. Inspections were compiled for Dec. 17.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter.

▪ Blind Box Barbecue, Nebraska Furniture Mart, 1601 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas, had 13 priority violations during a Dec. 11 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Eldridge House Grille/The Jayhawker Bar, 701 Massachusetts St., Lawrence, had 10 priority violations during a Dec. 12 routine inspection.
▪ Margarita’s Lenexa, 7890 Quivira Road, Lenexa, had eight priority violations during a Dec. 11 follow-up inspection.
▪ Sprouts Farmers Market, 9628 Nall Ave., Overland Park, had eight priority violations during a Dec. 11 follow-up inspection.
▪ Minsky’s Pizza Cafe & Bar, Prairie Village Shopping Center, 6921 Tomahawk Road, Prairie Village, had seven priority violations during a Dec. 12 routine inspection.
