Iconic Lawrence bar, JoCo vegan restaurant cited for multiple health code violations
Here are recent Kansas City-area restaurant inspections. Inspections were compiled for Nov. 5.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter.

▪ Dillons, 3000 W. Sixth St., Lawrence, had 13 priority violations during an Oct. 29 routine inspection.
▪ Salom Asian Market, 7833 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had 12 priority violations during an Oct. 30 routine inspection.
▪ The Big Biscuit, 13505 S. Mur-Len Road, Suite 107, Olathe, had 11 priority violations during an Oct. 29 joint inspection.
▪ Oriental Bistro and Grill, 1511 W. 23rd St., Lawrence, had 11 priority violations during an Oct. 28 routine inspection.
▪ Wagon Wheel Cafe, (also known as The Wheel), 507 W. 14th St., Lawrence, had 11 priority violations during an Oct. 30 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Pizza Shoppe, 7908 W. 151st St., Overland Park, had 10 priority violations during an Oct. 28 routine inspection.
▪ Price Chopper, 15970 S. Mur-len Road, Olathe, had 10 priority violations during an Oct. 30 routine inspection.
▪ Bob Evans, Legends Outlets, 1704 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas, had nine priority violations during an Oct. 29 routine inspection.
▪ Penn Station East Coast Subs, 14991 W. 119th St., Olathe, had nine priority violations during an Oct. 28 joint inspection.
▪ Perkins Family Restaurant & Bakery, 1711 W. 23rd St., Lawrence, had nine priority violations during an Oct. 28 routine inspection.
▪ Happy Foods West, 6700 Kaw Drive, Kansas City, Kansas, had eight priority violations during an Oct. 30 routine inspection.
▪ 7-Eleven, 2151 E. 151st St., Olathe, had eight priority violations during an Oct. 24 routine inspection.
▪ Turn 2, Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway, 777 Hollywood Casino Blvd., Kansas City, Kansas, had eight priority violations during an Oct. 29 routine inspection.
▪ Blue Moose Bar & Grill, 10064 Woodland Road, Lenexa, had seven priority violations during an Oct. 29 follow-up inspection.
▪ IHOP, Northridge Plaza, 15410 W. 119th St., Olathe, had seven priority violations during an Oct. 28 joint inspection.
▪ Mud Pie Vegan Bakery & Coffee, 7319 W. 95th St., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during an Oct. 29 routine inspection.
