Multiple health violations at Chinese, Italian, Mexican restaurants — and 3 groceries
Here are recent Kansas City-area restaurant inspections. Inspections were compiled for Oct. 28.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations. Direct links are not available.
▪ Joy Wok Super Buffet Hibachi Sushi, 11920 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, had 18 priority violations during an Oct. 17 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Hy-Vee, 8501 W. 95th St., Overland Park, had 16 priority violations during an Oct. 16 routine inspection.
▪ Hen House, 2724 W. 53rd St., Fairway, had 15 priority violations during an Oct. 22 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Price Chopper, 7418 W. 119th St., Overland Park, had 12 priority violations during an Oct. 23 standardization inspection.
▪ Garozzo’s Ristorante, 9950 College Blvd., Overland Park, had 11 priority violations during an Oct. 22 standardization inspection.
▪ Quinton’s Bar & Deli, 615 Massachusetts St., Lawrence, had 11 priority violations during an Oct. 22 routine inspection.
▪ Taqueria Mexico, 3300 Rainbow Blvd., Kansas City, Kan., had 11 priority violations during an Oct. 21 standardization inspection.
▪ BB’s Grill, 22362 S. Harrison St., Spring Hill, Kansas, had nine priority violations during an Oct. 21 routine inspection.
▪ Cronin’s Bar & Grill, 12227 W. 87th Street Parkway, Lenexa, had eight priority violations during an Oct. 21 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Fronteras Mexican Restaurant & Cantina, 7775 Quivira Road, Lenexa, had seven priority violations during an Oct. 23 follow-up inspection.

▪ Big Mouth’s Chicken Fish Tenderloins, 3010 Van Brunt Blvd., had nine critical violations during an Oct. 17 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during an Oct. 21 follow-up inspection.
▪ China Express, 200 N.E. Barry Road, had seven critical violations during an Oct. 23 routine inspection.
