Update: Even more Veterans Day 2019 free meals and deals around Kansas City

The following restaurants and businesses are offering special discounts to veterans and active duty military for Veterans Day. Military ID is required in most cases. Veterans should call ahead to verify requirements and participating locations.

▪ AMC Theatres: Free large popcorn from Nov. 8 to 11

▪ Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City, 3200 N. Ameristar Drive: Free buffet for lunch or dinner.
