Kansas City area nonprofits win health grants
The Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City has granted $230,000 to four nonprofits that work to provide safe and healthy environments in the metro area.
The awards: $30,000 to Community LINC; $75,000 to Harvesters-The Community Food Network; $50,000 to Rosedale Development Association, and $75,000 to SAFEHOME.
Organizations can apply once a year to the foundation for the special grants that are capped at $75,000 each.
