Profit and revenue increase at Euronet
Euronet Worldwide, which operates a global electronic payments network, on Wednesday reported increases in its second-quarter profit and revenue.
The Leawood-based company said it earned $20.5 million during the quarter, up from $18.2 million in the same period last year.
Revenue climbed 14 percent during the quarter to $395.5 million.
Electronic payment transactions through Euronet’s network of ATMs, point of sale terminals and other money transfer systems increased 8 percent in the quarter to 632 million.
