Cerner Corp. and the Veterans of Foreign Wars are collaborating to hire veterans through a virtual career fair set for Feb. 18.
The online-only event, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Central time on that day, is designed to help the transition to civilian employment of service members and their families. Cerner’s corporate website includes a “military decoder” tool that helps match skills and experience.
Cerner, which already has hired more than 250 veterans and reservists, will advertise jobs for systems engineers, technical support analysts, implementation consultants, nurses and other operational positions. Preregistration is requested at cernervfwvirtual.com/registration.
